Norman Naylor 16177 – Private, 9th Battalion, The Loyal North Lancashire Regiment Norman was born in 1894 in Bolton, Lancashire and was the son of Daniel and Betsy Hannah Naylor (nee Mort). He was Killed in Action on 30th December, 1916, leaving behind his widow Eleanor of 28 Moor Lane, Bolton. He is remembered at Hyde Park Corner, (Royal Berks. Cemetery) in Belgium.

Oliver Edward Naylor – Private, U.S. Army, 319th Infantry Regiment, 80th Division Oliver was born on 1st July, 1888, in Webster, Pennsylvania, the son of Frank George and Eliza Naylor. He died on 8th October, 1918, in France. He is buried at Romagne-sous-Montfaucon, Departement de la Meuse, Lorraine in France.

Patrick Naylor 6481 – Private, 1st Battalion, The King’s (Liverpool Regiment) Patrick was born about 1889 in Dublin, Ireland, and was the son of James and Elizabeth Naylor. He was Killed in Action on 21st April, 1917, in France & Flanders and is remembered at the Orchard Dump Cemetery in France.

Percy George Nayler S/2253 – Rifleman, Rifle Brigade Percy was born in 1892 in Colchester, Essex, the son of Walter and Emily Eliza Nayler (nee Canham). He was Killed in Action on 31st August, 1916, at France & Flanders. He is remembered at The Thiepval Memorial in France.

Percy Naylor 251298 – Gunner, Royal Horse Artillery and Royal Field Artillery Percy was born in 1896 in Bingley, Yorkshire and was the son of Joseph and Martha Ann. He was Killed in Action on 27th July, 1918, at France & Flanders. He is buried at the Longueau Communal Cemetery in France.

Percy Augustus Albert Nayler 58100 – Driver, Rl Field Artillery Percy was born on 29th November, 1885, in St Pancras, London, the son of Henry John N and Mary Ann Nayler (nee Sewell), He died on 3rd April, 1915, leaving behind his widow Bridget and young daughter Margaret Elizabeth.

Ralph Naylor 280980 – Private, 2nd Battalion, Lancashire Fusiliers Ralph was born about 1898 in Salford, Lancashire and was the was the son of William and Mary Ann Naylor. He died of his wounds on 28th June, 1917, at France & Flanders. He is remembered at St Sever Cemetery Extension, in Rouen, France.

Reginald Naylor 77099 – 1st/7th Battalion, Durham Light Infantry Reginald was born in 1890 in Elsecar, Yorkshire and was the son of John Samuel and Ann Ellen Naylor. He was Killed in Action on 6th November, 1917, at France & Flanders.

Reginald Bolton Naylor 36772 – Private, 16th Battalion, Prince of Wales’s Own (West Yorkshire) Regiment Reginald was born in 1897 in Leeds, Yorkshire and was the son of Edwin and Miriam Naylor. He died of his wounds at home in Lambeth, London on 8th June, 1917, and is buried at St John the Evangelist Churchyard at Moortown in Yorkshire.

Richard Naylor 11448 – 11th Battalion, Lancashire Fusiliers Richard was born on 22nd May 1882, in Salford, Lancashire, and was the son of James and Tabitha Naylor (nee Chesworth). He married Ada Oates in 1902 at Salford, Lancashire and was the father of Mary A Bowfield of 4 Waterloo Street, Salford. Richard was killed in Action on 23rd March, 1918, and is buried is The Arras Memorial at Faubourg-D´Amiens Cemetery, Arras, France.

Robert Naylor CH/18976 – Private, 1st Royal Marine Battalion, Royal Marine Light Infantry Robert was born on 4th May, 1897, in Tooting, London and was the son of Charles and Lavinia Annie Naylor of 83 Smallwood Road, Tooting, London. He was Killed in Action on 9th August, 1917, and is buried at the Bailleul Road, East Cemetery, Saint Laurent-Blangy in France.

Roland Naylor 49342 – Private, Machine Gun Corps (Infantry) Formerly 3307, Essex Regiment Roland was born on the 5th June, 1886, in Harrow, Middlesex. He was the son of Roland and Annie Jane Naylor (nee Moore). He died on 5th August, 1916, in Egypt, leaving behind his widow Annie Alice and their daughter Olive. He is buried at El-Qantarah el-Sharqiyya, El Ismāʿīliya in Egypt.

Roy Eric Alan Naylor 9267 – Private, Royal Army Medical Corps Roy Eric Alan Naylor was born in 1891 in Ilkeston, Derbyshire and was the son of John and Ann Naylor. He was Killed in Action on 16th May, 1915, at France & Flanders.

Samuel Naylor 38112 – Private, 6th Battalion, Princess Charlotte of Wales’s (Royal Berkshire) Regiment Samuel was born in 1894 in Rounds Green, Worcestershire, the son of Richard and Sarah Ann Naylor (nee Seedhouse), He died of his wounds on 7th November, 1917, in France & Flanders.

Samuel Naylor 129640 – Pioneer, Royal Engineers, Formerly 24267, West Yorkshire Regiment (1st Battalion Special Brigade, RE) Samuel was born about 1894 in New Wortley, Leeds and was the son of Jane Emma Naylor. He was Killed in Action on 5th October, 1916, at France & Flanders.

Samuel Dawson Naylor – Lieutenant, 52nd Battalion, Canadian Infantry Samuel was born in Canada. He died on 31st May, 1916, and is remembered at Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial in Belgium.

Samuel Herbert Naylor T/695 – AMT S Sergeant, Army Ordnance Corps Samuel was born about 1888 and was the son of William and Sarah Ann Naylor, of 29 Norfolk Street, Werneth, Oldham. He died at home of his wounds on 12th October, 1916. He is buried at the Hollinwood Cemetery in Oldham, Lancashire.

Sidney Naylor 680680 – Gunner, Territorial Force, Royal Horse Artillery and Royal Field Artillery, “D” Bty. 36th Brigade Sidney was born on 21st May 1887 at Preston, Lancashire. He was the son of William and Margaret Alice Naylor. He was Killed in Action on 8th October, 1918, at France & Flanders leaving behind his widow Minnie and son John Cyril. He is remembered at Flesquieres Hill British Cemetery in France.

Stephen Naylor 28476 – Private, 1st, 5th Battalion (Territorial Force), Loyal North Lancashire Regiment Stephen was born in 1896 in Morley, Yorkshire. He was the son of Collinson and Emma Naylor. He died on 8th October, 1918, at France & Flanders leaving behind his widow Elsie. He is buried at Haucourt, Departement du Pas-de-Calais, Nord-Pas-de-Calais, France.

Thomas Naylor 12916 – Private, 8th Battalion, Loyal North Lancashire Regiment Thomas was born about 19th November 1893, in Prescot, St Helens, Lancashire and was the son of Richard and Elizabeth Naylor (nee Wilkinson) of 2 Rigby Street, St Helens. He died on 19th May, 1916, and is buried at The Arras Memorial at Faubourg-D´Amiens Cemetery, Arras, France.

Thomas Naylor L/18391 – Driver, 56th Brigade, Royal Horse Artillery and Royal Field Artillery Thomas was born in Chorley, Lancashire and was the son of Louisa Naylor. He died in Mesopotamia on 27th July, 1916, and is buried at the Basra War Cemetery Part II M-Z in Iraq.

Thomas Charles 24845 – Private, 15th/17th Battalion, Prince of Wales Own (West Yorkshire) Regiment Thomas was born about 1890 in Crewe, Cheshire and was the son of Charles Christopher and Elizabeth Naylor of Hutton Bank, Ripon, Yorkshire. He died on the 27th March, 1918, and is buried at The Arras Memorial at Faubourg-D´Amiens Cemetery, Arras, France.

Thomas Henry Naylor 41988 – 1st Battalion, Essex Regiment, formerly 30761, Norfolk Regiment Thomas was born about 1892 in Sheffield, Yorkshire, the son of William H and Sarah E Naylor. He was Killed in Action on 30th November 1917 in France & Flanders leaving behind his widow Elsie and a small son. He is remembered at the Louverval, Departement du Nord, Nord-Pas-de-Calais in France.

Thomas Henry Naylor 188412 – Gunner, Royal Horse Artillery and Royal Field Artillery Thomas was born in 1889 at Burnt Tree in Staffordshire, the son of George Henry and Ann Naylor (nee Bradley). He died of his wounds on 19th August, 1917, at France & Flanders. He left behind his widow Helen and young son John Maurice.

Tom Naylor 36678 – Private, 7th Battalion, East Yorkshire Regiment Tom was born in Liverpool. He was Killed in Action on the 15th February, 1917, at France & Flanders.

Urmston Burney Alexander Naylor 386 – Company Sergeant Major, 52nd Battalion, Australian Infantry, AIF Urmston was born about 1882 and lived in Penguin, Tasmania, Australia. He was the son of Ethel Eliza Ann and the late Henry Urmston Naylor. He died on 16th October, 1917, and is remembered at The Huts Cemetery in Belgium.

Urmstone Shaw Naylor – Major, 13th Battalion, Durham Light Infantry Urmstone was born about 1878 in India, the son of Frederick Alexander Naylor. He was Killed in Action on 3rd September, 1916, leaving behind his widow Charlotte. He is remembered at the Thiepval Memorial in France.

Walter Naylor 6123 – Private, 1st/4th Battalion (Territorials), Northumberland Fusiliers Walter was born in 1892 in Heckmondwike, Yorkshire and was the son of Henry and Sarah Naylor (nee Benson). He was Killed in Action at France & Flanders on 1st April, 1918, and is remembered at Ploegsteert, Arrondissement de Mouscron, Hainaut, Belgium.

Walter Naylor 403032 – Private, Royal Army Medical Corps (Territorial Force) Walter was born in Halifax and was the son of Elizabeth A Naylor. He died at home on 2nd July, 1918, and is buried at the Bradford (Undercliffe) Cemetery.

Walter Alfred Naylor 9886 – Lance Corporal, 2nd Battalion, East Surrey Regiment Walter was born on 24th October, 1891, in Camberwell, London and was the son of Alfred Thomas and Georgina Cecilia Naylor. He died on 14th February, 1915, at France & Flanders.

Wilfred Naylor 575 – Private, 17th Battalion, West Yorkshire Regiment (Prince of Wales’s Own) Wilfred was born in about 1910 and he was son of Walter and Martha Ann Naylor, of 18, Marsh, Pudsey, Leeds. He died on 1st November, 1916, and is remembered at Faubourg D’Amiens Cemetery, Arras in France.

William Naylor 1740 – Gunner, Machine Gun Corps, Motor Branch William was born in 1895 in Bacup, Lancashire, the son of Henry and Rebecca Naylor (nee Ogden). He died on 25th April, 1916, in East Africa

William Naylor 3715 – Private, 1st & 4th Battalion, Northern Fusiliers William was born in 1895 in South Normanton, Derbyshire and was the son of Thomas William and Eliza Lucinda Naylor. He was Killed in Action on the 15th September, 1915, at France & Flanders.

William Naylor 11646 – Company Quartermaster Sergeant, 50th Company, Royal Garrison Artillery William was born about 1881 in Gleadless, Yorkshire and was the son of William John and Elizabeth Naylor. He died in Sierra Leone on 14th September, 1918, and is remembered at the Freetown (King Tom) Cemetery there.

William Naylor 20423 – Private, 2nd Battalion, Yorkshire Hussars (Alexandra, Princes of Wales’ Own) William was born about 1892 in Durham, the son of William Henry and Mary Ann Naylor (Nee Sewell). William resided in Sherbourne Colliery. He was Killed in Action on 8th May, 1918, at France & Flanders.

William Naylor 35132 – Private, Cheshire Regiment William was born in Hyde, Cheshire and was the son of Samuel Thomas and Jane Naylor. He was Killed in Action on 25th October, 1916, at France & Flanders.

William Naylor 235213 – Private, ‘B’ Company, 2nd Battalion, Duke of Wellington Regiment William was born about 1893 in Bradford, Yorkshire and was the son of Samuel and Elizabeth Ann Naylor of 37 Paley Terrace, Bowling. He died on 3rd May, 1917, and is buried at The Arras Memorial at Faubourg-D´Amiens Cemetery, Arras, France.

William Balme Naylor – 2nd Lieutenant, 6th Battalion (Territorial), Duke of Wellington’s (West Riding) Regiment William was born on 2nd September, 1897, in Keighley, Yorkshire. He was the son of William and Edith Naylor. He was Killed in Action on 16th September, 1916, and is remembered at the Authuille, Departement de la Somme, Picardie in France.

William Bryan Todd-Naylor – 2nd Lieutenant, 8th Battalion, King’s Royal Rifle Corps William was born on 12th November, 1895, in Bhamo, India and was the son of Henry Paul Todd and Ethel Mary. He died on 24th August, 1916 and is remembered at the Dantzig Alley, British Cemetery, Mametz in France.

William Edwin Naylor 10327 – Lance Corporal, 1st Battalion, Worcestershire Regiment William was born in 1888 in Nantwich, Cheshire. He was married to Nellie and resided at 7 Trinity Gardens in Worcester. He was Killed in Action on 6th July, 1916, at France & Flanders and is remembered at Thiepval Memorial in France.

William George Naylor M2/051422 – A Sergeant, Army Service Corp William George was born on 11th October, 1889, in Northallerton, Yorkshire the son of James Henry and Jane Naylor. He was Killed in Action on 7th April, 1918, in France & Flanders leaving behind his widow Annie (nee Barnett) and young children. He is buried at the Herissart, Departement de la Somme, Picardie in France.

William Henry Naylor G/12842 – Private, 6th Battalion, Buffs (East Kent) Regiment William was born on 30th May, 1897, in London and was the son of Francis and Elizabeth Annie Naylor of 47 Ashleigh Road, Mortlake, Surrey. He was Killed in Action on 17th August, 1917, at France & Flanders.

William Holt Naylor 42968 – Private, 1st Battalion, Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers, Formerly 4418, South Lancashire Regiment William was born in 1879 in St Helen’s, Lancashire, the son of John and Esther Naylor (nee Holt). He was Killed in Action on 15th October, 1918, at France & Flanders leaving behind his widow Edith Mary and his son.

William Walter Naylor 13452 – Private, 1st Battalion, Notts and Derby (Sherwood Foresters) Regiment William was born in 1893 in Chesterfield, Derbyshire. He was the son of William Walter (Deceased) and Edith Adeline Naylor of 215, Main Street, Danesmoor, Clay Cross, Chesterfield. He was Killed in Action on 23rd November, 1915, at France & Flanders and is remembered at Ration Farm Military Cemetery in France.

He was the son of Robert and Millicent Naylor of 11 Charles Street, Mansfield Woodhouse, Nottinghamshire. He was Killed in Action on 26th November, 1917, and is buried in Anneux Brit Cemetery in France.
