Albert Naylor 3855161 – Private, 2nd Battalion, The Loyal Regiment (North Lancashire) Albert was born about 1917 and was the son of James and Ellen Naylor, of Bolton, Lancashire. He died on 13th September, 1943, and is remembered at the Kanchanaburi War Cemetery in Thailand.

Albert Lester Naylor – Third Engineer Officer, Merchant Navy Albert was born on 14th March, 1917, in Hull, Yorkshire. He was the son of Edward Sergant and Alice Naylor (nee Winterbottom). He married Irene Elsie Parker in 1940, and lived in New Holland, Lincolnshire. He died on 4th August, 1943, off the coast of Algiers whilst serving aboard s.s. Fort La Montee (London). He is remembered at the Tower Hill Memorial in London.

Arthur Naylor 631267 – Sergeant (Air Gunner) R.A.F (9th Squadron) He died on 6th April, 1942, and is remembered at the Rheinberg War Cemetery in Germany.

Austyn Robertshaw Naylor 2582489 – Signalman, 49th Division Signals, Royal Corps of Signals Austyn was born on 9th May, 1919, in Leeds, Yorkshire. He was the son of Harry and Maggie Naylor, of Guiseley, Yorkshire. He died on 9th October, 1939, and is buried at the St Peter’s Churchyard in Rawdon, Yorkshire, England.

Ben Naylor 1624128 – Sergeant, 37 Squadron, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve Ben was born about 1924 and was the son of Arthur and Ellen Naylor, of Mapplewell, Yorkshire. He died on the 21st July, 1944, and is remembered at the Malta Memorial in Malta.

Clifford Naylor 1117966 – Gunner, 74 Field Regiment, Royal Artillery Clifford was born about 1931 and was the son of Arthur and Lizzie Naylor, of Pitsmoor, Sheffield. He died on 26th April, 1944, and is remembered at the Sheffield (Burngreave) Cemetery.

Cyril Naylor 1429025 – Serjeant, The Glider Pilot Regiment, A.A.C. Cyril was born about 1921 and was the son of James and Doris Naylor, of Orpington, Kent. He died on 24th September, 1944, and is remembered at the Groesbeek Memorial in The Netherlands.

Donald Naylor 1433131 – Sergeant, 106 Squadron, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve Donald was born about 1923 and was the son of Alan and Mabel Alice Naylor, of Glass Houghton, Yorkshire. He died on 30th January, 1944, and is remembered at Runnymede Memorial in Egham, Surrey.

Edward Naylor 3020044 – Aircraftman 2nd Class, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve Edward was born about 1925 and was the son of Edward and Mary Emma of Everton, Liverpool. He died on 29th June, 1944, and is commemorated at Liverpool (Anfield) Cemetery.

Edward E Naylor 4537563 – Trooper, West Yorkshire Regiment (Prince of Wales’ Own), Royal Armoured Corps Edward died on 25th July, 1944.

Francis Edwin Naylor 572011 – Sergeant, 160th Squadron, Royal Air Force Francis was born about 1922 and was Son of Samuel E and Mabel Naylor, of Sherfield-on-Loddon, Hampshire. He died on 22nd September, 1943, and is remembered at the Singapore Memorial.

Francis Keith Naylor 14547438 – Private, 5th Battalion, Sherwood Foresters (Notts and Derby Regiment) Francis was born about 1923 and was the son of Francis William and Ealey Naylor of South Normanton, Derbyshire. He died on 17th October, 1944, and is remembered at The Assisi War Cemetery in Italy.

Frank Alfred Nayler 109530 – Corporal, Royal Navy Frank was born on 25th May, 1925, in Colchester, Essex and was the son of Charles Arthur and Phyllis Dorothy M Nayler (nee Norman). He died on 1st November, 1944, at Sea. He is remembered at the Chatham Naval Memorial in Kent.

George Midgley Naylor B36997 – Sergeant, Royal Hamilton Light Infantry, R.C.I.C George was born on 10th February, 1915, in Haileybury, Ontario, Canada. He was the son of Louise Naylor. George died on 19th August, 1942, in France and is remembered at the Brookwood 1939-1945 Memorial in Woking, Surrey.

Gerald Naylor PLY/X 109574 – Marine, Royal Marines, H.M.L.C.S.(M) 99 Gerald was born about 1920 and was the son of Peter and Edith Naylor, of Leigh, Lancashire. He died on 6th June, 1944, and is remembered at the Bayeux War Cemetery in France.

Gordon Naylor 1017142 – Flight Sergeant, RAF, 46th Squadron Gordon was born on 13th May, 1914, in Hebden Bridge, Yorkshire. He was the son of Arthur and Frances Millicent Naylor (nee Crossley) and died on 18th September, 1942. He is buried at Alexandria (Hardra) War Memorial Cemetery in Egypt. He left behind his widow Barbara from Welshpool, Montgomeryshire.

Harold Naylor – 505600 Wireman, Royal Navy Harold was born on 9th March, 1925, in Barnsley, Lancashire and was the son of Charles H and Martha J Naylor. He died on 4th August, 1943, at Sea whilst serving aboard H.M.S. Penelope. He is remembered at the Naval Memorial in Plymouth, Devon.

Harry Naylor 5674255 – Corporal, 1st Battalion, Royal Fusiliers (City of London Regiment) Harry was born about 1819 and was the son of Frederick and Gertrude Naylor. He left behind his widow Catherine, of West Derby, Liverpool. He died on 27th November, 1943, and is remembered at Sangro River War Cemetery in Italy.

Herbert Edgar Nayler 6199294 – Company Quartermaster Sergeant, Middlesex Regiment Herbert was born on 10th May, 1909, in Paddington, London and was the son of Robert John and Florence Naylor. He died on 1st October, 1942, and is buried in Sai Wan Memorial, Chai Wan, Hong Kong.

Ian Rochester Naylor 494 – Midshipman, Royal Naval Reserve. Her Majesty’s Torpedo Boat. Ian was born on 11th May, 1926, in North Bierley, Yorkshire and was the son of Arthur Rochester and Nellie Naylor (nee Asquith). He was Killed in Action on 7th April, 1945, and is buried in the Portsmouth Naval Memorial in Hampshire.

Isaac Naylor T223977 – Driver, Royal Army Service Corps (1 Res. M.T. Coy.,) Isaac was born about 1911, in Bradford, Yorkshire. He married Ruby Ada Brayshaw of Guiseley in 1938, in Wharfedale, Yorkshire. He died on 23rd April, 1941, and is buried at The Athens Memorial Part II in Athens, Greece.

Jack Naylor FAA/FX 87282 – Leading Radio Mechanic, H.M.S. Avenger, Royal Navy Jack was born about 1922 and was the son of Albert and Amy Naylor, of Bradford, Yorkshire. He died on 15th November, 1942, and is remembered at the Lee-on-Solent Memorial in Hampshire.

Jack Naylor 4800030 – Serjeant, 1st Battalion, Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders Jack was born about 1914 and was the son of Harry and Eliza Ann Naylor, of Skellingthorpe, Lincolnshire. He died on 15th February, 1946, and is remembered at Skellingthorpe (St. Lawrence) Churchyard.

Jack Hempshall Naylor 1074000 – Sergeant, 76 Squadron, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve Jack was born about 1920 and was the son of Wood and Annie Naylor, of Horsforth, Yorkshire. He died on 7th September, 1943, and was commemorated at Durnbach War Cemetery in Germany.

James Naylor 3533439 – Rifleman, Infantry, King’s Royal Rifle Corps James was born on the 17th November, 1919, in Oldham, Lancashire the son of Ernest and Elizabeth Naylor (nee Robinson). He died on 8th July, 1942, in Egypt.

James Willie Naylor 2216119 – Sergeant, 57 Squadron, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve James was born about 1925 and was the son of James and Linda B Naylor of Bradford, Yorkshire. He died on 16th March, 1944, and is commemorated at Vevey (St. Martin’s) Cemetery in Switzerland.

John Herbert Naylor 1132574 – Sergeant, Royal Air Force (77 Squadron) John was born about 1920, in Morecambe, Lancashire and was the son of Arthur Edward and Eleanor Naylor (nee Wake). He died on 31st August, 1943. He is remembered at the Rheinberg War Cemetery in Germany.

James Hubert Naylor 413111 – Flying Officer, 35 (R.A.F.) Squadron, Royal New Zealand Air Force James was born about 1921 and was the son of Leonard George and Jeanette Naylor, of Clyde, Otago, New Zealand. He died on 27th March, 1943, and is remembered at the Becklingen War Cemetery in Germany.

John Naylor 153650 – Flying Officer (Navigator), Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve John was born in 1922 in Sculcoates, Yorkshire, the son of John and Violet Naylor (nee Steele). He died on 5th August, 1944, leaving behind his widow Joyce Mabel (nee OMER)

John Joyson Naylor 106477 – 1st Class Stoker, Royal Navy John was born on 6th November, 1919, in Everton, Lancashire and was the son of William and Emily Naylor. He married Florence Thelma Lewis in 1941, in Plymouth, Devon. He died on 4th March, 1942, at Sea whilst serving aboard H.M.S. Anking. He is remembered at the Naval Memorial in Plymouth, Devon.

John J L Naylor 249812 – Lieutenant, Duke of Wellington’s Regiment (West Riding), Infantry John died on 13th September, 1945.

John Leonard Naylor 13064166 – Private, Pioneer Corps John was born on 20th March, 1912, in Kensington, London and was the son of John and Elizabeth Helen Naylor. He died on 20th/21st March, 1941, and is buried at the Kensal Green (All Souls’) Cemetery in London.

John Walter Naylor 13005344 – Private, 75 Auxiliary Military Pioneer Corps John was born on the 24th December, 1900, in Halifax, Yorkshire, the son of Whitfield Rushworth and Elizabeth Naylor (nee Garforth). He was lost at Sea on 17th June, 1940 whilst aboard SS Lancastria (Liverpool). He left behind his widow Elizabeth Alice Naylor (nee Daniels) and six young children.

Kenneth Naylor 1380790 – Sergeant, 101st Squadron, RAF Kenneth was born on 22nd December, 1919, in Leigh, Lancashire. He was the son of Wilfred and Harriet Naylor of High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. He died on 30th November, 1941, whilst flying over the North Sea, He is remembered at the Runnymede Memorial in Surrey.

Kenneth Naylor 1644140 – Leading Aircraftman, 293 Squadron, Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve Kenneth was born about 1922 and was the son of Albert and Kate Naylor of Methley, Yorkshire. He died on 6th June, 1944, and is buried at Beach Head War Cemetery, Anzio, Italy

Leonard Naylor 1807274 – Gunner, British Army Royal Artillery (21st Light AA Regiment) Leonard was born in London, and was the son of Catherine Mary Neary of South Acton, Middlesex. He died on 10th December, 1942, and is buried at the Yokohama British Commonwealth War Cemetery.

Leslie John Naylor 6847821 – Rifleman, 11th (1st Battalion The Queen’s Westminsters) Battalion, King’s Royal Rifle Corps Leslie was born about 1922 in Glamorgan, Wales. He died on 10th May, 1944, and is remembered at the Sangro River War Cemetery in Italy. He left behind his widow Rita Dorothy Naylor, of Brighton, Sussex.
